What's Happening

  • Future Hawk Day for 5th Graders

To our choice enrolled students – We are hosting a FUTURE HAWK DAY for all of our incoming 5th graders.   We are in the process of setting up field trips for our elementary school students to come visit Summit Ridge Middle School the week of February 18-21st.   Students will get a sense of what it is like in the middle school during a regular school day and participate in some fun activities with some of our current students.  We would like to invite CHOICE ENROLLED students to come visit Summit Ridge on Friday, February 21st.  Please plan to drop your child off by 9:15am and pick them up at 10:45am.  There is no need to confirm that you are coming that day.  We are prepared to accommodate all of our choice kids and look forward to meeting all of you. If your child already attends one of our feeder schools, then there is no need to attend since they will be visiting SRMS with their current school.

  • Teen Mental Health Film Series Coming to Dakota Ridge High School

Good mental health allows young people to develop the resilience to cope with whatever life throws at them. The consequences of not addressing adolescent mental health conditions extend to adulthood and can limit the opportunity to lead fulfilling adult lives. Please join us for three nights this spring as we bring this very important film series to Dakota Ridge High School. Admission to each of the nights is free, but donations to Jeffco Public Schools Day Without Hate fund will be collected. Information about each movie coming this spring is on this flyer.  Hope you will join us!

  • We have updated our Chromebook policy, please review with your student(s).  It will be implemented beginning January 6, 2020.  If a student is in need of a replacement school ID, the cost is $3.00 and can be purchased in the library.

  • Looking for Chromebook information like how to get a replacement charger or how to buy accidental damage insurance?  Click here!

  • Yearbooks are for sale for the 2019-20 school year!
  • Parents!  Are you fed up with a busy parking lot in the morning?  Do you wish you had another family to carpool with?  GOOD NEWS!  SRMS is excited to announce a new partnership with company called "Way to Go" and their program called "Schoolpool".  A representative from "Way to Go" will join us at our next S.A.C. meeting on October 1st at 6:30 in the LMC.  Come learn about this exciting, free, and secure program!
